A little bit about me, Ailee Breakspear, and ailee made this... I am a work at home mum with a vibrant creative streak. In between fulfilling my many and various mummy duties, I am a quilter, pattern cutter, dress maker, beader, stitcher, felter, illustrator, knitter, and crocheter. I love to re-use vintage fabrics and buttons, to re-cycle old things into new things, and try to use natural and ethical fabrics. I like to use rich colours, interesting textures, and traditional crafts whilst always keeping an eye out for functionality. The matriarchs of the Breakspear family have been making me pick up all the pins, and sew in a straight line since I was tiny-wee, and after an academic interlude, taking Philosophy and Psychology at Bristol, I quickly returned to making things. I now live in Gloucester with my partner and our two gorgeous children.
